The first statewide total rewards conference was hosted by the Central Texas Compensation & Benefits Association in Austin, Texas in the late 1990s. In the years that followed, Houston Compensation Association (now Houston Compensation & Benefits), North Texas Compensation Association, and San Antonio Compensation Association each joined in to host the statewide conference in their cities.
In 2007, the idea was conceived to have all four associations work together to implement a statewide Total Rewards conference. Thus, the Texas Total Rewards Alliance was born.
Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2010, the Texas Total Rewards Alliance is committed to ensuring that human resources professionals across Texas have access to a high-quality, cost effective annual conference that educates them and provides them with current information that they can use to better their workplaces.
