This session will cover:

  • Optimizing HR processes and related IT applications is essential but challenging.
  • HR as a Service is a holistic approach towards providing end-to-end service solutions to all Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits and Payroll needs through self-serving cloud-based systems.
  • This session will help you understand if HR as a Service is viable for your organization and go through practical case studies when this model has been adopted.

Speaker Bio:

Malcolm O’Neal, Chief Human Resources Officer, MRC Global

Since 2017, Malcolm serves as BJ Services Vice President of Human Resources & Administration with company responsibility for HR, IT, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, & Facilities.

Malcolm has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, but began his career as a chemical process engineer in the textile industry. His first job was on his family’s farm in South Carolina where he learned the value of hard work, commitment, & learning from failure. Malcolm is driven by his personal values, believing everyone deserves a good leader, and giving back.

At BJ Services, Malcolm strives to never lose sight of how each team member is part of a family outside of work and the impact that the business has on their lives and their families livelihood.

Before moving to Texas in 2012, Malcolm and his family lived up and down the east coast working for various industrial service and manufacturing companies. Malcolm enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter outdoors, training for marathons, cheering for the Clemson Tigers football team, and is determined to win yard of the season in his neighborhood (8 years and no luck yet?!).
