Speaker Bios:


Robert Vaughan, Senior Retirement and Institutional Consultant, UBS

Robert Vaughan is a Senior Retirement and Institutional Consultant in UBS Global Wealth Management's Retirement and Institutional Consulting Group. As a member of the UBS Retirement and Institutional Consulting Group, Robert services Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution Plans, Stock Plans and Financial Wellness programs of public and private entities. Robert has earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) through the Wharton School of Business and is a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®). Through the Center for Fiduciary Studies at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. Robert holds an MS in Finance from Baruch College. In 2018, Robert and his team were nationally ranked as one of the Top 50 Institutional Consulting Teams by Barron's. Additionally, they have been recognized by PlanSponsor Magazine as a finalist candidate for Retirement Adviser Team of the Year in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017. Individually, Robert has been recognized as a Top 401 Retirement Plan Adviser from 2015 to 2017 by the Financial Times and a Top 100 Retirement Plan Adviser by PlanAdviser Magazine from 2012-2020. He former president of Houston Compensation & Benefits and sits on the committee for Texas Total Rewards.


Natalie Questell, VP of Human Resources, Frank’s International

Natalie Questell currently serves as the Vice President, Human Resources for Frank’s International, a position she has held since September 2015. Ms. Questell has over 20 years of global HR and business experience in the Oil & Gas and Food Service industries. As the Vice President, Human Resources at Frank’s International, Ms. Questell oversees a wide range of responsibilities including global talent development, compensation and benefit strategy, process transformation, compliance and global mobility programs. As the daughter of a naval officer, Ms. Questell has lived across the US.  She graduated with a BA in Spanish and International Business from St. Edward’s University in Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station.  During her studies Ms. Questell studied in Mexico and France as part of her degree programs.  Today, she is the mother of 14-year-old triplets and lives in Houston.


Julie Copeland, Associate Director of Benefits, Landry’s

Julie Copeland is the Associate Director of Benefits at Landry’s, one of the nation’s largest restaurant, hospitality, and entertainment companies. Julie has been with Landry’s since 2007 and has assisted the company’s growth from a regional firm with 10,000 employees to a major corporation with more than 65,000 employees in 35 states and 5 countries. During this time, Julie has successfully managed benefits onboarding for 14 major acquisitions. Julie oversees all aspects of the company’s benefits strategies and programs including insurance plan design and audit; 401(k) and deferred compensation management; and compliance. Annually, she and her team carry out 15 divisional open enrollments, manage 10 vendors and consultants, and educate all employees on benefit offerings. She has a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Sam Houston State University.


Wade Percival, Human Resources Director, Dril-Quip

Wade Percival is the Director of Human Resources for Dril-Quip, one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision-engineered offshore drilling and production equipment, headquartered in Houston, with operations in Aberdeen, Singapore, Brazil, and Ecuador. Wade joined Dril-Quip in June of 2020, at the height of the pandemic. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of HR service delivery in the areas of Business Partnering, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and more. As a career generalist, he had the opportunity to work in every aspect of Human Resources and worked in global roles throughout most of his career, including two assignments in the United Kingdom and Dubai, UAE. He received a BA in Human Resources from Harding University and the most satisfying part of his career are the people that he has been able to mentor and see move on to bigger and better challenges.
